Final Drive unit
All vehicles with the 4A-GEU engine used the T series 6.7" diff. Most of these had a 4.3:1 ratio. Some early models with automatic used a 4.1:1 ratio. A LSD center was optional. The common diff code T282, indicates a 4.3:1 ratio and non-LSD. Early models use axles with the same 24mm 23t spline as other older vehicles with the T series diff had. Late model vehicles used thicker axles with a different spline and different diff center to match.
